State Bank of India (SBI), India's leading public sector bank, has released a recruitment notification (CRPD/RS/2025-26/01) inviting applications from retired officers for the post of ERS Reviewer on a contractual basis. The engagement will be full-time, and selected candidates can be posted anywhere across India.

Pan India at various Circle Audit Offices (CAOs), as per SBI discretion.

-- Eligibility Criteria

• Must have retired from SBI or erstwhile Associates in SMGS IV/V grade.
• Preferably experienced in audit-related work.
• Should be in good health and have retired upon superannuation at 60 years.
• Age not more than 63 years as on advertisement date.
• Disciplinary records must be clean.
• No pending CBI/legal proceedings.

Selection Process

• Shortlisting: Based on eligibility and profile suitability.
• Interview: 100 marks. Qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank.
• Merit List: Prepared circle-wise in descending order of interview marks. Tiebreaker: Candidate's age.

Contract Duration

• Initial tenure: 1 year, extendable to maximum 3 years or till age 65, based on performance.
• Engagement is exclusive and full-time—no other assignment allowed during the period.

Key Responsibilities

• Review pre-sanction and sanction processes for credit exposure above ₹1 Crore.
• Flag deficiencies, ensure quality audits.
• Adhere to daily review targets and TAT (Turnaround Time).
• Performance Review conducted every 6 months.

Working Hours & Leave

• As per SBI’s normal working hours.
• Entitled to 30 days leave annually (on a pro-rata basis).
• Leave not availed may be encashed only if denied due to administrative reasons.
